Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Hampshire (CASA-NH) recently concluded Snowfest, an annual fundraising event now in its 18th year. Members of the New England Investment and Retirement Group (NEIRG) team were in attendance of this remarkable event which is both a fundraiser and volunteer appreciation day.

Snowfest is a full day event that features an auction, raffles and giveaways, skiing and riding, and a unique golf tournament played on the mountainside of Loon Mountain Resort. This event is significant as it raises money to help protect the state’s most vulnerable children while acknowledging the volunteers that keep this organization thriving.

NEIRG President and founder Nick Giacoumakis is a board member of CASA-NH and a longtime supporter of the organization. NEIRG was humbled to provide a contribution of $3,000 to CASA-NH’s Snowfest event.

Nick spoke with WMUR a few days before the launch of the event to talk about the importance of continuing outreach to potential volunteers. “We’ve been blessed to have the volunteers that we’ve had help out. At this point, we need all the help that we can get,” Nick told WMUR.
