Our Story

Founded by Nick Giacoumakis in 1995, NEIRG helps clients with investment management, personal wealth management and financial planning, and business preparation for exit/succession planning. Our mission is to help our clients grow, maximize, and enjoy the wealth they have built.

2021

We joined Focus Financial Partners and Connectus Wealth Advisers, significantly increasing the resources and services available to our clients

Experienced rapid growth and surpassed $1 billion in assets under management; Rose in FA Magazine rankings for RIAs from 370 to 325i

Rebranded as NEIRG Wealth Management and opened our third office location in Windham, NH

2017

Formally retired our broker-dealer affiliation and became a fiduciary as an exclusively fee-based RIA

2015

We opened our second location in Naples, FL, giving us a permanent presence to serve new and existing FL-based clients

2012

Brian Pirri joined Nick as a Senior Wealth Advisor, ultimately becoming a partner in 2018

2007

Started offering fee-based RIA services and formally opened the RIA that is now NEIRG Wealth Management.

2004

Opened a new office in North Andover, MA to support growth; This location remains our headquarters today

Nick Giacoumakis founded New England Investment & Retirement Group as part of Commonwealth Financial Network
