Each month, we highlight a member of the NEIRG team so you can learn more about the people who support your personal and financial goals.
This month, we want you to get to know Betsey Meader. She is a key part of the NEIRG team and is often the first face that greets our guests. If you have been to the reception room at the North Andover office, you may have had one of Betsey’s cookies — freshly baked each morning for our visiting clients and guests.
Team Spotlight | Three Questions with Betsey Meader
Q: Who is your favorite author?
A: “I have too many favorite authors to choose just one, but Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton, Greg Iles, and Kathy Reichs are all great. I went to the library so much as a child that the librarian finally offered me a job (which I was thrilled to accept), so in those days I had the world at my feet! And now they are all on my e-reader!
Q: When you’re not at the office, how do you like to spend your time?
A: “My husband and I like to travel, whether it be a weekend trip or somewhere far away. We try to make each trip into an adventure. We especially like visiting the Hawaiian Islands. Another favorite vacation was a family destination wedding in Florence, Italy. Not too long ago, we visited Monument Valley in Utah and couldn’t believe the amazing scenery. We loved it so much that we tried Sedona last year.”
Q: What else should we know about you?
A: “During the holidays, my husband and I donate a decorated Christmas Tree for a local museum fundraiser. Our tree usually comes out fairly well. But hey, we try!”
Next time you are at the North Andover office, be sure to try one of Betsey’s freshly baked cookies. And look for her handiwork during the holidays when she lends her decorating skills to the office Christmas tree.
