Last week, our President and Founder Nick Giacoumakis made his debut appearance on CNBC “Closing Bell.”
During the appearance, Nick joined CNBC hosts Wilfred Frost and Contessa Brewer to weigh in on the record-closing highs across major indices leading into the long July 4th weekend. According to Nick, despite warning signs that some optimism may be misplaced, the Federal Reserve is expected to be largely supportive of markets leading up to this month’s Federal Open Market Committee meeting.
Alongside panelists, Michael Santoli of CNBC, Josh Brown of Ritzholtz Wealth Management and Jim Bianco of Bianco Research, Nick also offered his thoughts on President Trump’s two nominees to the Federal Reserve Board. He explained that although both Christopher Waller and Judy Shelton are pro-interest rate hikes, the market has been powered higher by investor confidence in future interest rate declines.
